I went here because my old psychiatrist is retiring and dropped me as a patient because I missed an appointment. This put me in a very scary situation considering I have two meds that you can't just stop taking cold turkey due to the withdrawal symptoms and puts me at a very high risk of having seizures. I have been on these meds steadily for years and figured there wouldn't be a problem having a Dr continue my prescriptions. Well I make an appointment and I sit with the Dr and asks me what meds I take. Right away after saying what I'm prescribed she responded with "well this med is a controlled substance". I said yes I understand and have been on it without problems for 3-4 years and has been the only thing that has helped me. At this point I could sense a strange vibe and she tried to say there is no record of me ever getting this med from the pharmacy which is impossible because I've gone to the same Publix pharmacy every time and said I could even bring my prescription paper work showing I've been receiving it for years. She then proceeded to ask me basic questions do I smoke and so on, well then she ask if I ever drink alcohol and I responded yes occasionally I'll have a drink after work. As soon as I said that she just plain out says she won't prescribe me the med and wrote me off right there and wouldn't treat me. I honestly was shocked because I explained that I had just come from the ER where they prescribed me some of my med to get by due to how dangerous it is to stop these meds. I don't understand how a Dr could just turn me down knowing I could literally die from not having this medicine.

Office is very clean, staff attentive and sincere, as well as always very timely. Thank you for your hard work, taking the time to be attentive to your patients needs and listening to their medical concerns fully. This is a refreshing experience. A++
